The Laval Indoor Spatially Varying HDR Dataset
Full-HDR high resolution indoor scenes with multiple HDR probes
This dataset contains 20 indoor scenes, captured using a Canon 5D Mark III and a 24–105 mm lens on a tripod. The scenes are first captured in high dynamic range by merging 7 bracketed exposures (from 1/8000s to 8s) with an f/11 aperture. For each scene, an average of 4 HDR light probes are subsequently captured by placing a 3-inch diameter chrome ball at different locations, and shooting the entire scene with the ball in HDR once more.
Important: the sphere has 74% reflectivity (equivalent to the HDR environment maps to being 74% of the actual light intensity). Please take this into account when rendering virtual objects.

Click the thumbnail to download the scene. Each scenes contain a HDR background image and full HDR images containing a single probe.
Download extracted HDRis
The HDRis extracted, rotated to be aligned with the camera's axis and corrected for the sphere's reflectivity can be downloaded here. The archive also includes the manually annotated data as well as the extracted HDRis uncorrected for the reflectivity.
